Hello, fellow ORSCoach!
Wasn’t that video delicious – full of essence, dreaming, and
We hope you liked it. Why?
Because we believe that ORSCoaches: The Daring Way™ holds the missing links, the pieces that have eluded so many of us, and thus kept us from becoming the courageous, confident, world-class ORSC professionals we knew we could be. We, ourselves, have been profoundly changed – personally and professionally – by The Daring Way™ work, and we want to give you that opportunity, too.
So, starting on October 23, 2017 and running through December 18, 2017, there is a new session of the ORSCoaches: The Daring Way™ program that’s designed with you in mind and in heart. It was lovingly dreamed into being – and will be devotedly led – by us, ORSC Certified Coach & Daring Way™ Facilitator, Kat Hay and ORSC-trained, CTI Certified Coach & Daring Way™ Facilitator, Laura Biering.
The content of this rewarding virtual experience will be delivered in a variety of ways:
(1) Nine interactive, full-group calls (that’s audio and video), with recordings available;
(2) Twelve videos of Brené Brown discussing the Daring Way™ curriculum;
(3) Eight supportive, connecting ‘daring sharing’ buddy calls;
(4) Myriad thought-provoking homework assignments; and
(5) Multiple fun and enriching creative projects.
The benefits of full participation in our program include:
(1) Identification and dissolution of beliefs and behaviours holding you back from achieving your potential as an individual and as a professional coach;
(2) Development of new skills and practices for dealing with what life brings;
(3) Raised levels of awareness and effectiveness in all areas of your life;
(4) Deeper clarity regarding your calling and next steps as a World-Worker;
(5) More frequent experiences of authenticity, courage, and worth; and
(6) Greater ease with employing compassion and connection with yourself and those around you. Thus,
(7) The uncovering – and unleashing – of your own, inimitable way of changing the world.

Here’s what a few past participants have said about their experiences:
This programme allows participants to spearhead a way of being in the world that – in my view – is required in the 21st Century. A world that is more interconnected at all levels than it has ever before requires us to adjust. This includes opening up to other people, other cultures and to new ways of decision-making where you don’t have all the details and don’t know what the outcome will be. If we want to role-model such adjustments, we must learn to allow our vulnerability to show up (for instance admit that we don’t know or ask for help). This in turn allows others to do the same. This way we help create more understanding, openness and depths in the world which in turn allows us to create peaceful communities or relationships in general. ~ Elke Esders, Deep Democracy Coach, Munich, Germany
Inspiring and powerful activities for self-reflection and self-discovery. A safe and authentic space to share real life experiences and stories that hold us back. A bold invitation to step into the arenas in our own life that call us to “Show Up, Be Seen and Live Brave™.” ~ Yvonne O’Reilly, Belgium
It has been my privilege that I took part in this program for Japan, which makes me feel that I am ahead of the game and makes so much sense after ORSC certification. Again, thank you two so much for taking time and taking great care of us. ~ Noriko Sato, Japan
This is a “gift” of a course. The content is top-notch. The use of Brené Brown’s work as its underpinning is profound. The facilitation is loving, compassionate and top-drawer. The intimate circle generated among the participants is “delicious” and rare. My experience of the program was profound. My lens shifted in a number of areas. I have a much better awareness of self and of other important relationships in my life. I have new strategies. The course moved me with my discoveries about self but it also moved me to have such tremendously intimate connection with my fellow participants. I am showing up in the world with more accountability for My Joy, with less of a martyr approach and instead taking accountability for my own caretaking. I am more comfortable with and proud of my ability to show vulnerability. I understand that I don’t need to expect “full-on” authenticity and vulnerability in every relationship and every moment. ~ Sue Edwards, PCC, The Construction Leadership Coach, Toronto, Canada
The ORSC Daring Way was the perfect program by the perfect leaders at the perfect time for me. Being in a private high speed rollercoaster around divorce and the loss of two dear friends, I could use some support and guidance to find the brakes and regain some control of my life. Kat Hay and Laura Biering were the Daring Angels who lead this program around showing up and being seen in an incomparable way. With love and rigor they navigated us through the waves of shame and vulnerability. To rise out of the ocean with more self compassion, clarity in my private arena and more strength throughout all aspects of my life, both private and at work. This program has been priceless for my process last year. I just also loved the group of ORSC colleagues. All speaking the same language. All being very comfortable with putting others first. And each of us challenged to step up and take radical care of ourselves. Thus we could provide the loving support we all needed for each other.
Apart from the benefits of this program, I love the setup with video conferences on Zoom (no tech problems and clear videos!) and the combination of group calls and buddy calls. To anyone considering taking this course: if you are a professional facilitator and are in need of support (and of CCEU’s), don’t wait any longer, call Kat or Laura! ~ Louise Kemps, Change Agent, Netherlands
ORSCoaches: The Daring Way™ is based on the research of Brené Brown, Ph.D., LMSW, and on The Daring Way™ curriculum. Dr. Brown is a shame and vulnerability researcher and the author of the New York Times #1 bestsellers, Braving the Wilderness, Rising Strong, Daring Greatly, and The Gifts of Imperfection. She is also known for her two highly popular TED talks, “The Power of Vulnerability” and “Listening to Shame.” In these presentations, she tells us that if we want to experience joy, we can’t avoid being vulnerable. She also says that those who are courageous enough to let themselves be seen as their vulnerable, authentic selves can live richer, more meaningful lives – lives she calls “Wholehearted.”
Do you resonate with Brené’s message of Wholehearted Living, Loving and Leading?
Do you desire to experience and embody the transformational outcomes listed above?
Do you want to be a more personally empowered Professional Coach, Daring Leader, and World-Worker?
