Reflections on and of chairs

Will I Do, a poem

Will I Do

I bow to the world
In awe of its beauty
Complexity

From the chair where I sit.
I listen, listen,
Hear, hear

Sounds, audible and
Messages, inaudible.
Now what

Will I do

With what
I have
Heard?

Rise and live it
Or remain
In this chair?

What will I do?
What?
Regardless

Of what
I do do,
Will I do?
